Whooooaaaaaa!!
One hundred people!
You may have noticed a trend lately, where I’ve been posting spotlights about women only. That is because it’s March! Women’s history month!
I figured I might as well post an abundance of women’s stories to coincide with Women’s History Month.
But who’s this guy?
He’s most certainly not a lady, though he does happen to be going through life with a beautiful woman named Maelyn, also known as number seventy-nine.
When I took Dane’s picture, he politely requested “dibs” on number one hundred.
How could I say no to this face?
He might look a bit bashful, but I’m pretty sure he’s excited. He’s just hiding it.
I used to see Dane at my elementary school, back in the 90s. He was smaller then and he had less hair, both on his head and on his face. I remember thinking he was quiet. And that’s pretty much all I remember.
But I’ve heard stuff, you know? Like, Dane is a lifelong martial arts student and a fantastic musician.
He was a chef at Madhouse for about eight years and then, with his partner, branched out into restaurant ownership.
Oh yeah. You know the place:
Such a great atmosphere in there, with delicious food and personable staff. It can get a bit loud (for my old ears) but that is definitely a testament to its popularity.
I’ve been told by many that Dane has a great business mind and is fair to his employees.
The beautiful and artistic front of the building leads way to a lovely interior. The Foundry, much like its owner, isn’t just beautiful on the outside: outer beauty is a front for the true goodness that is held within.
Seven years and counting for this Port Arthur classic. Here’s to many more!
And one more thing…
Dude is rockin a man-bun. I’m both impressed and bitterly jealous.
Thank you Dane!
One hundred!

I love this!!!💜 Great to see black bay kids killing it in the real world. Would also love to be a part of this!
