Shawndra was born and raised in Thunder Bay and attended the Toronto School of Business after graduating high school.

She’s got a good head for business, that much is obvious, but what’s even more obvious is Shawndra’s talent in the kitchen.

Cindy Loohoo’s began as a food truck in 2013 and eventually became a bricks and mortar location on Court Street.  Shawndra is the owner, operator, and head chef and works so hard, along with several team members, making sure the food is top notch.

Cindy Loohoo’s is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.  It’s a step above regular diner fare, with amazing breakfast options and lunch dishes (best eggs benny in town, gone bananas french toast). The restaurant is open and airy and clean, there is plenty of seating and children are welcome.

Look at Shawndra go!

She’s amazing!

Married to her sweetheart since 2012, Shawndra and her husband enjoy traveling and hiking.  There’s nothing like pushing yourself hard and being rewarded by a job well done.  Both on the hiking trail and in the kitchen.

Nothing makes this lovely lady happier than a satisfied customer.  I myself have been pretty satisfied every time I’ve gone into Cindy Loohoo’s.  I think you will be too.

Shawndra has managed to go from a simple food truck to a neighbourhood staple.  I wish I could eat those amazing soups and sandwiches everyday!
