This happy little ray of sunshine has been working at Nook for about 8 months now.
Yet another lovely staff member to round out the delightful team at this delectable downtown eatery.
So what else is new, right?
Marielle is studying visual arts at Lakehead University and has just finished up her third year.
When she’s not busy waiting tables and mixing up pretty drinks, Michelle is doing her school work. But of course that’s during the school year. What’s Marielle doing with all her free time now?
Well, mostly running. She actually loves to run and work out, but she’s also running to find friends for all kinds of fun hang outs and running after three dogs and a cat at home.
Well…she’s going after the three dogs. Cats are too dignified for that kind of nonsense.
Now. I’m going to tell you a secret about Marielle. Only it’s not really a secret because she told me I could write about it, but let’s just say it’s a secret!
So get this….
Marielle has double vision! Isn’t that wild?!
It doesn’t really affect her day-to-day life very much but it does make her depth perception slightly off and therefore she can be a bit clumsy. But hey, she’s had those eyes her whole life, she doesn’t know what it’s like to see clearly!
Or does she?
She is an artist after all. Maybe she sees more clearly than the rest of us!
You can check out Marielle’s artistic endeavours by visiting her Instagram here. Her stuff is amazing!!!
As a quick side note, check out the blur in the background. None other than Number 86 of course! She doesn’t slow down, even when I’m trying to carry out very important interviews and photo shoots!
Thank you for always bringing it, Marielle. And by ‘it’ I mean impeccable customer service, terrific conversation, and your sweet sweet art.
