When I first met Tara, over a decade ago, she was a newly married lady, working at Nutrition House, living in Fort William, and getting started with her very own radio show at the Lakehead University campus and community radio station.

Many years have passed since our initial meeting and some stuff has stayed the same, but lots has changed!

For instance, Tara no longer lives in Fort William. She’s out in the country, literally living the farm life!

Outstanding in her field!

No no, she’s not actually a farmer. But she and her family live amongst the fields and hay bales. She is an incredibly hard worker though!

No longer working a retail position, Tara is a personal support worker and also a student support worker. She helps in the schools when needed and has regular clients whom she helps with various activities such as running errands, cleaning, and socializing.

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Tara grew up with one younger brother. She enjoys traveling to Southern Ontario and visiting that little brother, as well as her sister-in-law, a nephew, and a niece.

Tara is still hosting a show (Rawk Star Gurl) at LU radio, often with her husband as cohost and occasionally with her son or a fun friend as cohost.

In addition to her work, and her lovely family, Tara loves all kinds of music, tattoos, socializing with a gaggle of friends, yoga, and photography.

Tara is incredibly talented and works hard at everything, whether it’s paid employment or something she just does for fun.

This beauty leads a very full life and wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m glad to know you and share so many memories.
