Several months ago, I walked into the Bean Fiend to say hello to Number Ninety-Eight and she introduced me to this lovely human:

There she was, just sweetly sipping her coffee and getting some work done. I thought it was illegal to look so lovely at such an early hour, but there are actually no such laws in existence.

Jessica was born in North Vancouver and grew up with two sisters and two brothers. I think having a busy childhood prepared Jessica for a busy adulthood. She and her husband have three kids, two dogs, and two cats!

I wonder if her house is ever quiet enough to hear the clock ticking. I doubt it!

As a young adult Jessica studied illustration at Capilano University in North Vancouver. As a young mother (when her kids were 2, 4, and 6), Jessica studied to be a personal trainer at The Australian Institute for Personal Trainers.

Jessica’s husband is a mining engineer and his job allowed him the opportunity for travel. It was an amazing experience to take as an entire family and a wonderful way to see the world and explore a different career choice.

Jessica draws (pun intended) upon her education and works as both a graphic designer and a personal trainer. She also does network marketing for the skin care company, Rodan and Fields.

When not working or busy with family, Jessica loves sailing, skiing, working out, and socializing. She also loves zombie shows like the Walking Dead.

Zombies! How appropriate on this chilly day as we get closer and closer to Halloween!

Jessica says she loves the action and chaos of her busy life; she wouldn’t want it any other way.

And I say…. go ahead and chug that coffee, girl! I think you might need it even more than I do!
