I had heard about Angela but I had never met her. Or I might have said a brief hello to her, but that was it. A week ago, I officially met her at a fun-filled potluck dinner!
Right away I liked her because of that hair and those glasses. It’s a classic look and it reminds me of every single bespectacled redhead in my family, especially the pictures of my mom from the 1970s.
Angela is a classic beauty who knows how to tell a good story. She is kind and caring to the people around her, generous with her time, and a devoted mother and friend.
Angela has lived in Thunder Bay her whole life, graduated from Lakehead University, and works for the Ontario government. She has volunteered and helped organize many events over the years, including Busker Fest.
This year Angela has been named co-chair for the United Way campaign. What an honour! No doubt she will work hard and raise awareness and funds, doing our city proud. Click here for more info about the Thunder Bay branch of United Way.
In her spare time, Angela loves spending time with her two children and her friends, spending time outside in the sun, and taking in all the live music and theatre she can.
Thank you Angela, it was lovely to meet you!
