In April, Vernon and his tattoo space was featured in the monthly Wall Space column of the Walleye. I wanted to follow up the April spotlight with a May spotlight here so I could move beyond his amazing professional skill and shine a little light on Vernon’s happy and shiny personality.
Here is Vernon with Alex. Alex is one of the owners of Identity Tattoo and Piercing on Bay Street. We met him awhile ago. We’ll probably meet the other owner of Identity one day!

When he’s not tattooing or working on tattoo designs, Vernon enjoys collecting and playing retro video games, campy horror movies, spending time with his wife and two kids, and hanging out with two cats and one dog.
Vernon was born in Emo and came to Thunder Bay to study visual arts and teaching at Lakehead. He enjoyed living here so he made it his home. We’re glad you stayed Vernon, you bring beauty to the community by tattooing it all over the citizens. Thank you!
