I took this picture of Simeon last fall at the bizarre Bazaar, held annually at the baggage arts building in Marina Park. He purchased a Tom Waits print from me, so obviously he has good taste in music.
I took this next picture a few days ago at Moon Money Vintage on Cumberland St. He popped in with his lunch and we had a nice visit.
He sure looks different without his big winter hat, eh? It’s getting cold again so I’m sure the hat will be back very soon!
Simeon was born in Thunder Bay and apparently we went to the same high school. We went to the same university too, but I didn’t meet him until last year.
He studied Psychology at Lakehead University and is currently enrolled at Western University, working on a Master’s of professional education in applied behaviour analysis.
What a mouthful!
His professional life is an even bigger mouthful. Simeon works as a positive behaviour support facilitator. He works with people who have intellectual disabilities, assessing their needs, and providing support to the forensic mental health program at the hospital.
Chew on that for awhile!
Simeon is just a great guy who enjoys working hard, being a good friend, and he’s just all around good! GOOD PEOPLE!
